How much does an eye exam cost without insurance coverage?

An exam is $139.00 which includes the Optomap. This price does not include contact lens evaluations or fittings.

What insurances companies do you accept?

Most major medical and vision insurances with notable exceptions being Davis Vision, Medicaid plans, and NVA.

What does Medicare pay towards exam and glasses?

Medicare does not pay for routine vision exams. Medicare does pay for an examination when a medical diagnosis requires it, therefore, Medicare patients are required to pay a refraction fee. Medicare does not pay for glasses , but many 'all-in-one' Medicare plans and supplements now have coverage for eyeglasses.

Do you accept Medicaid plans?

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we no longer accept Medicaid plans.

Do I have to make an appointment to pick out glasses?

No you can drop by any time during our normal office hours.
